Download Wanderkin from the App Store, tap 'Get Started,' and follow the onboarding steps. You'll create a profile and complete selfie verification in under 3 minutes.

During onboarding, you take a selfie that confirms you're a real person. It's compared against your profile photos to prevent catfishing. Your selfie is processed securely and not shared with other users.

Go to the Profile tab → tap 'Edit Profile.' You can update your bio, photos, interests, pronouns, identity tags, and travel style at any time.

Go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your account will be scheduled for deletion with a 30-day grace period. Log back in within 30 days to cancel. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted.

Add a trip with your city and dates. Wanderkin shows you other verified travelers whose trips overlap with yours. It's not algorithmic matching. It's simply 'who else will be there when you are.'

Yes. Trip visibility is opt-in. You control which trips are visible and can hide any trip from your profile at any time.

If you're the first one, we'll notify you when someone else adds that city to their plans. In the meantime, check the city feed. Locals may already be active there.

Only selfie-verified users can send or receive messages. You can also block or report any user from their profile or message thread.

In a group chat, anyone can create a meetup with a time, place, and description. Others tap 'I'm in' to RSVP. It's a lightweight way to go from chatting to actual plans.

Tap the ⋯ menu on any profile, message, or feed post and select 'Report.' Choose a reason and add optional details. Reports are reviewed by our team, usually within 24 hours.

Tap the ⋯ menu on their profile or message thread → 'Block.' They won't be able to see your profile, message you, or appear in your results. You won't see them either. Blocking is instant and silent. They are not notified.

Our moderation team reviews every report. Depending on severity, actions range from a warning to permanent ban. You'll receive a notification when the report is resolved. For urgent safety concerns, email us directly at safety@usewanderkin.com.

Your exact location is never shared. Other users only see the city from your trip listing. Wanderkin does not track or display real-time location.

Profiles, destination matching for up to 3 cities, city feeds, and the places directory. Messaging, group chats, meetups, and unlimited matching require Premium.

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Profile → Settings → Subscription → 'Manage in App Store.' Cancelling stops renewal, but you keep access until your current billing period ends.

Wanderkin doesn't process payments directly. Apple handles billing. If you're seeing unexpected charges, check your Apple subscriptions at Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your device. If the issue persists, contact Apple Support or email us and we'll help investigate.

Go to Profile → Settings → Subscription → 'Restore purchases.' This syncs your subscription status with Apple. If it doesn't work, email us with your account email and we'll sort it out.
